AI vs. Human Artist

When you look at these pictures, it’s not hard to tell the AI-produced ones from the human creation. Mine is this case. Why? There is always something in human painting which is so beautifully OFF! Or odd or irregularly unexpected! No matter how precisely artificial intelligence (AI) tries to simulate a human artist it cannot replicate features outside of an algorithm.

And it’s hard to describe this ‘something OFF’ - otherwise there would be an algorithm to it, right?

This human awkwardness - it is so warm and so humanly! It could be something like.. your child suddenly calling you and your drop of paint goes into a wrong place of the painting, or your cat spilling the water and messing up with the colour tubes in your studio or you suddenly change your mind.. This could happen right in the middle of the line you are drawing which completely changes the story of the painting. Unpredictable and ‘un-algorithmisable’! Yet.. As robots are getting better dangerously fast..
